The documentation about exactly how to use it is lacking in detail, to be very kind. There is no base profile for DCS, but there is a profile named Lock_On_X5x. To fix it and remove all the A-10 stuff from my F-15 config screen I simply had to reload the default.lua joystick files for the F-15 for both the throttle and joystick.
