In order to summon a Gigantic Thresher you need to fish up an item called an Ominous Conch (ID: 194701). Once I had 5 of the Ominous Conchs I stood by the Large Lunker Sighting and clicked on the item in my bags to throw it in the water.I waited to do fishing stuff and missed out on lunker groups and getting this achievement that way. Oddly enough, the lunkers I found were called Massive Threshers, but they don't actually count as a Massive Lunker. The Massive Lunkers are spawned by using 5 of the Ominous Conches at the Large Lunker Sighting area, but they will count for both this achievement and the Il va nous falloir un plus gros harpon… achievement. It appears you get 5 ominous conchs from completing tuskar harpoon WQs, which each one will have a large tuskar bone that when mouseover'd says large lunker sighting (Waking Shore 65,74 for example).
