He currently owns two, one with a born date in mid March and one with a born date in mid May. He has thoroughly examined both guns and has observed some interesting changes in the May gun. The only time its ever happened with mine was when I was shooting factory reloads of 115 grain ammo. Failed to lock back twice in 100 rounds. Never happened using either 124 or 147 grain ammo so I quit using 115 grain.It passed the service pistol test in the tiny SIG P365 with 3.95″ for all five shots at 25 yards, the best three in 1.80″. "And topping the accuracy mark was SIG's 124-gr. V-Crown JHP which put five shots into 1.5″ at 25 yards. A single .40 slug could have touched all of the best three in the group.It is called Sig 365 ammo and it is designed specifically for the Sig 365. It is loaded very mild at only 1050 fps, whereas the winchester white box 115gr in 1125 fps, federal is 1180 fps, and the +P is 10% higher and the +P+ is 20% higher. You can even get the slide milled for a Trijicon RMRcc and spend $500 on one of those.
